Weston Creek
Also home to the National Zoo and Aquarium, Weston Creek is bordered by the Stromlo Forest, providing residents with a natural sporting and recreational facility on their doorstep.
Weston Creek was established in the late 1960s, as a smaller offshoot of the Woden Valley. Comprising of just 8 suburbs, Weston Creek is due for expansion with the release of land to be known as ‘Molonglo and North Weston’, on the site of the pine forest decimated in the devastating 2003 bushfires.
The residents of Weston Creek enjoy close proximity to Woden, Tuggeranong and the City, while still having their own shopping centre – Cooleman Court, schools and sporting facilities.
