Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan

Located just a few kilometres from the border of the ACT, Queanbeyan & Jerrabomberra provide an alternative to living in the national capital while still being able to benefit from all the facilities on offer.

Queanbeyan is a thriving regional centre with a strong sporting culture. Many famous Australian sporting icons have hailed from Queanbeyan and it was also the original birthplace of the Canberra Raiders.

The city is home to a large shopping centre known as Riverside Plaza, many primary and secondary schools, a major hospital, ambulance station, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, community centre, public library and several parks. Jerrabomberra is a relatively new community, with construction beginning in the late 1980s. Following rapid growth, Jerrabomberra is now home to almost 10,000 residents. With a community centre, shopping centre, tennis courts, a post office, primary school, a lake and various other facilities, Jerrabomberra residents have a fully self contained community.
