Celebrating 25 years and still in love with real estate.

We’ve come a long way in 25 years. From our humble beginnings in a tiny office at Griffith Shops we have grown into Canberra’s premier real estate network, with 7 offices located across the ACT region.

Despite our success and accomplishments, we have never been content to rest on our laurels and our commitment to excellence has never been stronger. As we look to the future, we will continue to exceed expectations and deliver a service that our clients will want to recommend; a service that continues to focus on professional communication and industry excellence. We will celebrate the contributions of our employees and enjoy the journey as we deliver results for our clients.

As it is our special year, we thought you might like to look back at our milestones and accomplishments so far:

• Peter Blackshaw Real Estate first opened its doors in September 1988 and our first property sale was made by auction in October 1988.
• We introduced and pioneered ‘sale by auction’ in Canberra and sold Canberra’s first million dollar property.
• Peter Blackshaw Real Estate introduced full colour property advertisements to Canberra.
• In 1989 we relocated from Griffith to Manuka.
• Our training and mentor programmes have helped a great number of real estate professionals to realise their dream of becoming successful within the industry.
• In 2002 we expanded our network with the opening of our first franchise office Woden & Weston Creek. Since that time we have steadily grown to service all areas of the ACT and the surrounding residential, semi-rural and rural regions.
• In 2011 & 2012 Peter Blackshaw Manuka won the Real Estate Industry Australia’s most coveted award, Australia’s Large Agency of the Year.
• In 2010 Peter Blackshaw Real Estate was inducted in the REIACT Hall of Fame and the Canberra Times Print Advertising Large Hall of Fame. Numerous industry awards have also been won, to view our full list click here.

Peter Blackshaw Real Estate is proud to be the major sponsor of the 2013 Junior and Women's Canberra Tour, to be held from the 5th – 7th July. The popular event, hosted by Cycling ACT, will see cyclists travel from interstate and overseas to compete in a number of events.

Canberrans will have a chance to see Australia’s rising stars compete against the picturesque backdrop of Mt Stomolo at the Stromlo Forest Park. The newly designed complex boasts a purpose-built criterium cycling circuit, viewing platform and excellent amenities including ample parking.
